There is absolutely no doubt that millions of people are starting to gear up for the number one party season of the year. In some people's mind the party actually starts around the preparations for Halloween and continues all the way through New Years Eve. If you are one of those people who loves to entertain and you want your parties to be not only a success but to be memorable, then this article may help you reach your goal.

Theme parties are all the rage and the more clever you can make your theme the more clever your guests are going to be. Clever theme, clever guests equal a memorable party. So what exactly is a Never Ending 12 Days of Christmas Party, you ask. Well, it is exactly what it says. It is a party that really doesn't have to end - thus the Never Ending part or it can go on for at least 12 days but the key is to have everyone sign up to plan and host one of the 12 parties.

The genius of this idea is that the responsibility for the continuous party is passed around. The motivation to be creative is heightened because everyone will want to have their party be the most memorable and the group gets to figure out the logistics and select the days and times that work best for everyone.

The main goal of the Never Ending 12 Days of Christmas Party is to bring friends and family together for a number of different Christmas themed holiday events or parties, to be creative, and to have fun! An example of an agenda for 12 themed events or parties could include:

1. Christmas at the Gym Volley Ball Tournament - to take place on a particular night that features everyone dressed as their favorite Christmas character. The party moves to a bar or someone's home following the game for snacks and drinks of choice.

2. Christmas Decorations Scavenger Hunt - teams are given a list of "hard to find" Christmas decorations and they go door to door asking for scavenger items. They come back together for food and tallying of who is the winner.

3. Christmas at the Mall -teams are given several problems to solve by identifying things in store windows that can help them solve their problems. They write down their solutions for a team of judges to review - only one team wins. A sample problem might be - you have been assigned to get ready for a surprise visit from the Pope. What would you do to make his visit respectful and memorable? List where, in the mall will you find the things you need to host a large international entourage.

4. Christmas Snack Mix Contest - this theme allows individuals or teams to create their special version of the tradition chex mix snack. Entries have to be completely original. All entries are put into bowls that are the same and participants test each and vote for their favorite.

5. Christmas in a Foreign Country -with this theme, everyone comes dressed in the traditional Christmas garb of a country of their choice and brings a food representative of that country's Christmas tradition.

6. Christmas on another Planet -is similar to the Christmas in a Foreign Country theme but the twist is guests create a story about an alien planet's Christmas traditions, dress up like the inhabitants of that planet, and shares traditional Christmas alien foods.

7. 1800's Christmas Caroling Karaoke Style - This seems pretty self-explanatory but just in case not, the idea is to dress up like carolers from the 1800s and go door to door using a Karaoke machine and jiving to the tunes in your old style duds.

8. Outdoor Christmas Decoration Contest - gather together as many different kinds of materials as you can think of for guests to use to create a unique outdoor Christmas decoration. Decorations must be designed, made and displayed within 4 hours. Some supplies to have on hand could include wood, saws, hammers, nails, glue, paint etc. This party is a good one to start early on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and go into the night.

9. Christmas Jingle Contest - guests are asked to work together in teams to take a song people know the tune to and create new Christmas lyrics. As guest arrive, give them a list of required categories or genre's - country western, gospel, rock, hip hop etc. and say they have one hour to write the lyrics to a song from each genre and be prepared to perform their songs -choreography is preferred. A panel of objective judges select the winners. Winning categories could include things like, best lyrics, worst performance, best stage presence, etc.

10. Bowling with the Elves - Another pretty obvious theme. Guests dress up as their favorite Santa elf and goes bowling.

11. What Would You do if You Were Santa - This party let's people be creative in their representation of how they would look and act if they got to be Santa. Guests dress up in their new version of Santa and are prepared to tell their own "Night before Christmas" story version.

12. The Last Christmas Party PowerPoint - is a recap of all of the other parties. Hopefully, each host took lots of pictures of their party and prepared a 10 minute PowerPoint or movie presentation of the highlights. This is the time for humor, exaggeration, out and out lying and remembering the Never Ending 12 days of Christmas Party season.

Please don't take this list of party themes as the gospel. It is meant only to be a catalyst for you and your friends and family to use to plan your own personal Never Ending 12 Days of Christmas Part extravaganza. Merry Christmas and Happy New year!!!
