The Newness of This Day

Alexiandria M Michaels
Dear Lord, help me breathe in the newness of this day. Let the newness flow through me like a rebirth of my soul, my spirit, and my heart. Let me breathe and consciously breathe and with each breath allow it to regenerate me; physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Let me breathe and regenerate; with each breath help me change where you see new direction needed, strengthen where you see weakness, and encourage where you see faltering where I should not falter. For Lord, I am yours.

Help me embrace the newness of this day with the strength and determination that only the new rays of a new day can shine and break through the empty, misguided, and misunderstood tribes. Let the rays permeate, enrich, and rejuvenate every cell in me with your guidance that only the light of Christ can bring. Let no other even with good intentions attempt and succeed to guide this heart of my mine. For your hand holds my lamp, and let no other lamp try to shine a path for me. For Lord, I am yours.

Help me keep my heart open to the newness of this day and let my heart hope. A hope of newness filled with joy and no attachments, predisposed emotions, and dreams of how things should be. Because it is only then that our hearts are truly free, truly open, and truly yours Lord. For Lord, I am yours.

Help me feel the strength of the newness of this day run inside of me like the blood through my veins. Let it nourish me but also flow with the responsibility it brings and the wisdom of the ancient rivers and wines of the old seas. Let the old merge with the new; and become one. For only then will newness, responsibility, and wisdom capture the type of true courage that comes from those who seek the Lord, and declare, Lord I am yours.

Help me find the joy that comes from the newness of this new day's first light. Let the light allow us a moment of pureness that opens and brings our true paths into light. Even though our paths bring uncertainty let the light help us face it with sincere eagerness that only comes from faith and from knowing you are always with me. Because you are always with me, Lord I am yours.

Help me see clearly with the newness of this day, but with eyes filled with forgiveness for others and also for myself. Let the forgiveness spread and conquer to the willing others and help them allow themselves to willingly and consciously heal. May the forgiveness spread and conquer me willingly and help me allow myself to willingly and consciously heal. For until we truly forgive ourselves, can we also truly forgive others. Let our eyes see clearly, willingly, and consciously for it will bring the wholeness to our hearts, spirits, and souls that we seek. Let the seekers know the secret to the wholeness starts with forgiveness and forgiveness starts with you Lord and by saying Lord, I am yours.

Help me hold the visions of the newness of this day without judgment, acceptance, and without question. For enlightenment in any form is a precious gift. Let me understand that gifts are to be appreciated, held, honored, and respected at all times. Sometimes gifts can be passed on, for those who are willing to endure the path taken when one requests the light of the Lord to run freely in their hearts, spirits, and soul. My path is willingly your way and I find a way to willingly endure, for Lord, I am yours.

Help me trust with all my heart the newness of this day even though it might end up brighter than I could have ever possibly imagined. Help me trust that even if the brightness blinds me for a moment and makes me stumble. Let me rise again without any shame or any anger for stumbling was always a part of your plan. Maybe not my plan but yours, so it makes it mine for my heart, soul, and spirit has been yours since I was a child. So in the end, and in the beginning of the newness of this day, your plan is my plan for Lord, I am yours. Amen

Beautifully written, in answer to your question on the pagoda picture. I do not have a close up of this one but hopefully I will have some more of this type of building to post shortly, you are very welcome to draw these.
