With you right behind me,
We set out into the night,
Riding thru the country,
On my brand new bike.
It is here I feel your presence,
So close as never before,
We ride in total silence,
As we start to explore.
The road is long and winding,
As we coast thru the night,
I feel your arms around me,
As you hold on tight.
I needed to take a ride,
To get away from here,
Torn up inside,
Things hard to endear.
So it is you and I,
Riding thru the night,
Going nowhere,
But feeling so right.
The animals out in numbers,
As we pass them by,
Looking at us in wonder,
But they are so shy.
There are deer and opossums,
A raccoon or two,
They think this is awesome,
Me riding with you.
