The Nintendo Wii Sports Resort: How Does it Compare to Other Wii Interactive Games?

Wii Sports Resort a Preffered Item

This will all depend on which way you are looking at the Wii, that is if you are a true gamer and graphics mean just as much as game play then, you will feel the same about the new Wii Sports Resort as you do the rest of the Wii games. If you enjoy the interactive movement, the feeling of class competition of speed vs. power, and just the pure exercise it takes to play the Wii Sports Resort, then it is right up there at the top of all sports games. However, there is no John Madden or any other major name involved in the promotion or game play of the Wii Sports Resort.

The Wii Sports Resort also has no flash of high power graphics, or the sensation of your in the real game by looking at the graphics. It does however; let you know your actual movements are part of the actual game, making it possibly more realistic than a higher rated pixel. Nintendo Wii has not come out to compete with graphics. With this current system they have reached a new gamer, the one who wants to show their true athletic ability, and possibly learn a new one, or two. This makes the Wii Sports Resort a perfect choice for gamers who are looking to be involved in what they are doing.

As with most of Nintendo's most popular games the Wii Sports Resort is bundled together to make it appealing to several customers rather than just one game for one type of person. It may be that someone would not like most of the bundled games and only buy it for one or two games. Wii Sports Resort is also the most sold package for the Nintendo at this time, making other bundled packages play catch-up as they have been released. Wii Sports Resort is great fun to watch as well as play. The same is true about so many other Wii games now that everyone has to participate, of course, this may keep uncle Bob and Aunt Susie away from the TV at Christmas time this year, but you can believe their kids will be right there waiting to join in.

The Wii Sports Resort is the best selling game for the Wii at this time; however, the game play depends on what you prefer, the control that you can get with the sports games is often greater than you can accomplish with a less interactive game like Tetris. With that being said, even Tetris can be greatly enjoyed on the Wii by using the button instead of trying to throw your arm across the room to try to turn the shape. If you are a Wii fan, you will find every game has different options of interactiveness and all of them are more interactive than the Nintendo of old.

This was the game I was going to (and now want to) rent. They rent it with the Motion controller.

Out with the old and in with the new some people say. But some will always play both. I would!
