The Nobel Peace Prize

(or Should I Say, 'The Swedish Liberal Extortion Award')

Jeff Braun
As The Nanny would say..."Oh....My....God!" The Nobel Peace Prize goes to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Al Gore (AG)? What would the inventor of dynamite think about this? Good thing he's dead I guess...because this farce would not have gotten past him...he actually had half a brain. Just look at the list of names for past Piece Prize Laureates and with the exception of a few (other mistakes), would you, or anyone, put the IPCC and AG on this list? I didn't know that the Nobel Peace Prize was given on the basis of how well you use "extortion" to your advantage. But I guess when you are trying desperately to influence (scare) the entire human population of the world, this is exactly the (only) kind of tactic that will work. Congratulations Al, et al. ...you have just proved that Gustave Le Bon's principle of crowd control psychology (from the famous 1895 publication of "The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind", which justified the use of heavy propaganda in controlling "irrational" behavior of any group of people) actually works. The only problem here...this is the same approach that Hitler took in "controlling" large numbers of people.

This is supposed to be a largely Humanitarian Award, isn't it? You will notice that "they" didn't win anything even remotely scientific here (no way for physics or science). The rhetoric surrounding the award states that they won for, "their efforts to build up and disseminate knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change." For one thing, they have not disseminated ANY knowledge about climate change...propaganda, yes...truth (knowledge), no. As for the second part of the statement, how can you lay foundations for something that does not exist the way that they say it does...or will? The Nobel Prize Committee has severely undermined the value and the meaning of the 'Prize" and I personally will no longer look to this group or the award with anything but but skepticism concerning their motives.

Why in the world are we (and by "we" I really mean "you!") letting "them" shove this idea of anthropogenic global warming (Excuse me...I mean climate change.) down our (your) throats? And for their effort, regardless of the truth, they get awarded for it...lots of money for the "movie" (you know the one)...and then the NOBEL PEACE PRIZE - and the million and a half or so that goes along with it! So, once again, it just goes to show...CRIME DOES PAY! It also says something about the Swedish mentality and ideals...in other words, where their heads are at. (Do I really need to draw you a picture?)

The average household in America consumes about 10,700 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In just one month (August of 2006), Gore devoured nearly 22,619 kWh (nearly twice the national average - for an entire year!!!).

    Global Warming Good News

Will CO2 taxes and carbon sequestration ruin
our economy? Not if we can help it. Our new
systems turn captured carbon into gold by
    increasing agricultural harvests 100% and
save up to 96% of the water normally used for
agriculture! This will expand our economy!
