The North American Union

The United States, Mexico, and Canada will join together as the "North American Union" Don't think so?

Canada has never been very interested in this idea. In fact, they have always wanted their own identity. For the most part, they don't agree with US Government policies. Remember, they are socially and politically influenced by the French. The North American Union was not Canada's idea.

Mexico has been working with the US Government on this North American Union idea for some time. Recently (October 8, 2007, interview on Larry King Live) Mexico president acknowledged the common North American Currency, the "Amero". The US Government's foot dragging on securing the Mexico border and those super hi-ways for those Mexican trucks is a clue.

The driving force behind The North American Union is economics, not national security, nor politics. It is about money. Europe is becoming a more competitive economic force in the world market due to the European Union. The Asian market, including Japan and China, has become a very big world economic force. The North American Union is about competing in the world market. It also is about money.

Many US products are not competitive on the world market due to health care and other bloated labor cost built into the price. What The US has that the rest of the world wants is technology and food. We need more to bring to the world market to remain a major world economic force, like Mexico's economical manufacturing capacity.

I would prefer the US to be more self-sufficient and less dependant on other parts of the world. We cannot afford that independence. We need things the rest of the world has to offer like oil and manufactured goods.

We have depended on the might of the US military to assure plenty of cheap oil. Cheap oil fuels our economy, which fuels our technology superiority. It also fuels farming. We need stronger economics to keep that process going.

Most Americans won't go for the North American Union as I have described. It won't be an easy sell. Over time, it will happen. The continuation of the devaluation of the US Dollar is already impacting American lives. When the dollar won't pay the bills, the Amero idea will be more acceptable. There has to be a problem for Americans to try an alternative. The problem will be the pain of economic pressures. The alternative is the slow process of becoming a North American Union.

This slow process will be so slow that most won't realize it is happening. How slow? The change could be complete by year 2012. You won't stop it.

What can you do?

Be aware of current events. Make decisions that will best prepare you for the economic changes over the next few years. Think about every buying decision you make. Don't buy anything new if used will do. Don't buy anything you don't have the money for. Be a US Dollar watcher. Care about your future and the future of your children and our great country.
