The Nut in Norway

How about this nut in Norway? Sounds like one of ours; racist, right wing, bomb thowing and gun toting. He was organized, I'll give him that but no match for a good American like Timothy McVey. We react with a resounding Ho-Hum until the next nut shows up at a shopping mall near you. That will ignite a few weeks of memorializing. Americans love their monuments. Vietnam Wall, OK city chairs, Twin towers reflection pool and all the other tourist traps of unending sadness.

One day it'll be some puke with a nuke or a dirty bomb. More than likely a homegrown believer rather than foreign terrorists. If its a homeboy we will find him, execute him and sweep it under the rug. If it's a foreigner we will invade a couple of countries, extract vengence, spend lots of money and murder innocents X''s 100.

Better yet elect a nut like Palin or Bachmann, clean up the fags, liberals, Catholics and Jews. Always at the far right end of conservative nationalism sits a Hitler or a Pinochet. The Nazi's are still alive and thriving. Mussolini made the trains run on time, Hitler provided Volkswagens and Bush sent out stimulus checks. Get yourself a good nick name like 'the Tea Party' drum up some crazy talk and patriotic rhetoric and write yourself a ticket to the big show in Washington. The game hasn't changed much only the pace has quickened.

John Boehner this week is facing up to the fact that he's lost control of his caucus because a populist bunch of neo nazi nationalists were welcomed into his party. Barry still has control of his Dems because they can always be bought. I'm sure Boehner has gotten a call from his bosses, the ricos and corporate elites telling him if interest rates go up because he drops the ball someone's gone to stop his free cigarettes and make his job disappear. It's Barry, Bernake and Geithner that are providing the free money. The big boys only object to their rhetoric. Eloquence is meaningless in the money world if Boehner slows down the gravy train to defend some paltry tax modifications he's dead meat. He's smarter than that but if he cannot corral and control his caucus he's dead as well.Barry has them by the short hairs and he's going to give a tug. The GOP is running out of options, Barry has balls, he might take us all over the edge to make a point then put the blame on Republican intransigence. Geithner has the money but one missed Social Security check and the game is over.
