The Obama Administration, Israel and Nuclear Power

Could This Be the Dreaded "Obama Tsunami?"

Snidely Whiplash
There's been a lot of chatter about Obama failing to lead. Perhaps that thought is completely 180 degrees in the wrong direction. Let's examine the Middle East turmoil and the pending nuclear "disaster" mainstream media assures us is imminent and on its way to the United States. And let's look at these two seemingly unrelated situations and see if they intersect with each other on any plane.

I contend Obama is not "out to lunch" on any of this. He is dead in the center mass of involvement in both situations and deeply so. Regardless of rhetoric Obama hates nuclear power and anyone who disputes that is a sycophant supporter of him and/or his agenda. As well regardless of rhetoric, Barack Obama likes Israel about as much as I like asparagus, and that would be not at all.

Barack Obama's support for Egypt ousting the stabilizing Mubark makes the Israeli position very untenable. His accepting the Libyan strife with nary a comment for days lends to Middle Eastern upheaval. In a destabilized Middle East, and I mean even more than normally so, Israel's position grows more and more dangerous. Without strong counter weights controlling the near unified desire of radical Islam to destroy Israel, Israel will be forced to defend themselves with extreme prejudice. Does anyone think that will make for a peaceful Middle East? It's as if Obama has thus far done everything one could do from afar to destabilize the region and put Israel on even sharper tenterhooks, silently and seemingly without blame or connection.

If one wanted to see Israel destroyed, yet did not want to be incited for favoring such or for assisting in such an event occurring, what better way to see that end reached than to enjoy the show as it unfolds before us at present? Every linchpin that is undermined weakens Israel's position in near geometric proportion. If the Middle East were to ever actually "catch fire" as it were, Israel would have to destroy all their enemies or be destroyed themselves. Any takers as to how that turns out, I mean for the world?

What of oil prices and availability? Gee, another clear dovetailing with the progressive, Obama agenda stuff. Less oil or high priced oil would perhaps encourage public transport, no? Wow! Who could have seen this one coming? Great way to find a way to get more money for "green" stuff, huh? Maybe even an "executive order" or two for good measure to kick the green ball a rollin' toward America, ya know, much faster than we as a nation have thus far embraced the loss of freedom near total dependence on public transport would necessarily entail. Food for thought?

What of Japan's disaster? As if a 9.0 earthquake weren't enough, add in a 30 foot tsunami and a nuclear power facility going, well nuclear! And tiny bits of loose radiation may travel to our West Coast and now the media has a story they can run with. And what luck - Obama and progressives have yet another "crisis they needn't let go to waste." (paraphrased) Notice how oil upheaval and high prices matched with nuclear power concerns fit so nicely together? See now how such disparate events can back into each other so damn nicely?

If I hated nuclear power, my oh my would I be sitting pretty 'bout now, no? I could feign concern and employ wistful rhetoric all the while knowing the worse the radiation leak, or at least the more we can scare folks and gin up concern, the better for me and my hopeful wishes.

Could we actually be experiencing, along with all the Obama promises and other odd acts as president, that "change we can believe in?" Could this be that "fundamental transformation" we were promised? In all seriousness I had an alternate title I wanted to use for this piece - "An Idiot, A Jew And Glowing In The Dark!" Gee, wonder if the Middle East or Israel in particular, will ever "glow in the dark?" See how it all fits together just so dang nicely?

Each of these events - Obama as president, the Middle East series of crises, the Japanese disaster and their relative proximity brings to mind George and Kramer from "Seinfeld." George once lamented when he found Kramer was at Yankees baseball fantasy camp. George said people should pay money to live like Kramer for a week..."Kramer goes to a fantasy camp. His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down two thousand dollars to live like him for a week. Do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors, and have sex without dating. That's a fantasy camp." (Wikipedia, Cosmo Kramer)

Barack Obama is Cosmo Kramer. He has fallen "ass-backwards" into leader of the world. He has fallen ass-backwards into OUR money, mooch food off HIS constituents, and if anybody is doing the pokey dance with him, well sorry for you! I personally believe Barack Obama is "laser focused" on something, but it's not the American economy, insane government spending or unemployment. It does however seem as if he's laser focused on crushing the American domestic energy sector and distancing and isolating Israel. Yep, he's Cosmo Kramer for sure! And the nation? Yep, you guessed it! We are the hapless George Costanza. Sucks to be us, huh?

Oh, he's following his agenda, alrighy. He's already openly promised to bankrupt anyone who builds a coal-powered electric plant. See, until America is crushed, and this nation of aggressive, armed, liberty-loving people is brought to its collective knees, his elitist boyfriends can't take over completely. For far too long, too many "commoners" were rising into the oligarchy for their tastes. They're on a mission to stifle prosperity for anyone but themselves.

The world is noticing the weak America we've become under the weakest leader our nation has experienced yet.

Great wrap to a great commentary, Whip.

Another great article Snidely. I've never been a fan of nuclear energy. I want to see president O drill for oil and turn clean coal loose.
