OK - I kind of see where some people get this idea. Makes me think of the Left Behind books. (Yes, I have actually read almost all of those - I stopped at what should have been the end, when the great war concluded. I don't for a minute think that the authors could actually imagine the aftermath and Jesus' second coming and how the world would be afterwards... sheesh.) I am not so dense that I can't see HOW it is that people are making this connection. But there are a few things about it that really irk the hell out of me.
So Barack Obama is a bit of a celebrity. Anyone with a vision outside of TERROR would be nowadays, I think. I have listened closely to this man, and all I hear is HOPE. I don't see it. The Anti-Christ thing, I mean. He speaks for me, in a lot of ways. Which is saying a LOT for any politician. Normally, even the ones I like don't say ALL that much that applies to my personal philosophy. This man does. With almost every sentence that comes out of his mouth. So, because he is such a dream-come-true, that means I'm supposed to SUSPECT him of something? GAWD.
Not all that long ago, since there was nothing else to harangue the man over, the argument against his service as President of the United States was that he was "too fit". So, the man is not fat and sloppy enough to be President? He doesn't have a known history of packing his nose (like GW Bush), so he's suspicious? He doesn't have an official military medical history of psychological problems (like McCain), so he's obviously a bad man? Can someone please explain this to me? I'm not sure - does this mean that I shouldn't trust anyone who seems to be a decent human being with lofty goals?
I just don't get it.
Personally, I'm willing to take the chance that he IS. So what if he ushers in the End of the World (as we know it)? George Bush has been aiming to do that for 8 years, now. No one seemed upset at that. OK - a LOT of people seemed upset at that, but no one ever called him the Anti-Christ, did they? I mean, besides me. LOL Personally, I would LOVE to see an end to things as they are. My children cannot imagine the news without a scroller at the bottom telling them how many soldiers died that day and with the word "TERROR" popping up every third sentence. I try to explain to them that the word "terror" did not use to be part of everyone's common everyday vernacular. It does not seem as though they believe me.
I'm willing to take the chance that he's the Anti-Christ. So maybe politicians lie to get elected - HIS lies sound a hell of a lot better than anyone else's I've ever heard during a campaign. Even if he only manages to implement a tiny portion of what he promises, it will STILL be a whole heck of a lot better than what we have had with the current Administration. And for us New Agey freaks, I think he speaks our language in a lot of ways. What's WRONG with being ONE people? Unity is strength. And if, by some chance, we are visited by beings from another planet somewhere, wouldn't it be nice to show a unified Humanity instead of the warring factions we have here now? We are splintered and at odds with each other - that makes us weak and pathetic. Humanity SHOULD be united. It's where Love begins, and is cultivated.
I know a lot of people can't stand the Clintons. (I personally don't CARE who he had under the desk - that's between him and his WIFE. And like I have always said, if Monica relaxed him, and he was better able to be the wonderful President I feel he was, then more power to him - get that man some more interns!!) But let's face it - there was peace, and there was prosperity. NO ONE can deny that. Seems to me that the cycle is such: Republicans, war and tax spending out the ying-yang without much improvement for the People (of "We, the People"); Democrats, peace and taxes being spent ON the People. No high end math to perform there, for me.
Don't go off on this and that particular. ALL human beings have lapses in judgment and make bad decisions - some of which have long-lasting effects. But it's in the numbers, folks. George Bush has been one long mistake, and I can't actually think of ONE thing he has done in the past 8 years to make MY life any better. I guess if I LIKED killing people because they were different than me, or if I LIKED sending America's sons and daughters off to DIE in a foreign land, or if I LIKED the economy falling to ruin, or if I LIKED the largest deficit in American history (after the National Debt had been CLEARED by the former - Democratic - Adminstration for the first time in God Knows HOW LONG... Oh - and that deficit represents more spending than in ALL the former Administrations of the past, COMBINED), or if I liked a man who dedicates his life to inciting fear and hatred - then I could be happy.
But I'm none of those things, and I am NOT happy.
Barack Obama represents HOPE. Maybe I don't buy that it will be the level of hope that he promises - because the system itself will most likely work against some of his ideals - even IF he means every single word he says. But ANY hope at this point is better than none.
Who's to say that he isn't the Second Coming, waiting for the sh*t to hit the fan to disclose himself? I mean, he LOOKS more like what Jesus probably looked like than the popular paintings hanging in American homes of a WHITE man. (Oh God - I'm gonna get it for THAT, aren't I?) All I'm saying is I will take hope any day over more terror and hatred and fear.
How about you?

since PEO's were made lawful, over 1000 have been made. Now thats just the Presidential Executive Orders, which must be disclosed in either the Federal Registery or the Presidential Findings. When PEO's were made legal, so were another variety of Executive "laws", known as a multitude of titles, some of which are National Security Directives, Security Council Memos/Directives, and National Security Decision Directives. These "laws" are of the more elusive kind, having no need to be reported let alone even confirmed of exisitng. A select number of these "laws" have been declassified, none of which seem to be constitutionally legal in nature.
I suggest that every American vote Constitutional party. Vote for freedom not popularity.
This Administration has made 45 new Executive orders which were made bypass the constitution. Well if you look at it from a religious stand point. Scripture says that there will be many Anti-Christ. 1Jo 2:18
