The Old Hotel Restaurant is in the heart of Twin Bridges, Mont. The hotel was built in the 1870s and was last modernized in 1996. Although there have been an array of renovations done to this fine establishment, it still has a timeless ambiance that makes it not only contemporary, but original too.
When I first entered this fine Montana restaurant, I noticed the entire atmosphere was scenic but had a home-style aura, as everything from the floors to the actual tables and chairs are primarily made up of hardwood. If you are looking for any essence that embraces such a concept, I guarantee that you are going to love eating at the Old Hotel Restaurant.
The menu is relatively small, but don't let that fool you. It actually changes every week. So, say you want to frequent this popular Twin Bridges eatery tomorrow and then you decide you want to eat there a week later. You will not have the same food selection. With everything from entrees, appetizers and desserts, you are destined to have a three-course meal that meets your fix.
What I love most about this undiscovered restaurant in Montana is the fact that the food is prepared by a high-end chef. Some may say "Who cares?" but if you are looking to enjoy great food for the first time, there is no need to be skeptical, as the food here is amazing. Also, you may see a few celebrities in there from time to time, such as Mickey Rourke, David Letterman and Henry Winkler.
There is an extensive wine and beer list, so you can enjoy a nice glass of your favorite port when dining here. Dinner reservations are available. Vegetarian friendly food is also served here. There are also accommodations available here, so you can actually spend the night at the hotel after you enjoyed a great meal.
The Old Hotel Restaurant is open from the middle of May until the middle of October. During the summer months, this high-end restaurant is open Tuesday until Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. for dinner. For brunch, it is open on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. During the winter months, the Old Hotel Restaurant is open from Thursday through Saturday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. for dinner. Then for brunch, this fine eatery is open from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Would I recommend this restaurant to a friend? Most definitely. Would I eat at the Old Hotel again? Absolutely.
