THE OLD OAK TREE
The old oak tree sitting in my yard
Looking out over our house and being our guard
Watching when we come and go
with it's branches falling low
It has been there ever since I can remember
I just hope it doesn't fall to a timber
The old oak tree I do love
It reflects God's love from above
I know one day our oak tree shall fall
And probably become a fireplace log
But until that day it will ever be
My favorite old oak tree
