The first scripture that I would like to tell you about is I John 3:20. This scripture tells us that God knows everything. The next scripture that I am going to give to you tells us that God understands all things. His understanding is limitless. It cannot be measured. This is very encouraging because we never have to worry whether or not we have a God that knows what we are feeling. The scripture to access this information is Psalm 147:4-5. Isaiah 46:9-10 tells us that God knows the past, present, and the future. He knows everything.
There are also some scriptures that tell us that God watches us and knows everything that we think. Some examples of this are the following scriptures Proverbs 15:3, Hebrews 4:13, Daniel 2:22, and Ezekiel 11:5. These scriptures tell us that God knows all that come into our hearts and into our minds. He knows what we think and how we think. This can be comforting and discouraging depending on what we think about. If we are on the right track God can and will comfort with the right thoughts. These thoughts will be healthy for us to think.
There are quite a few scriptures that talk about the comfort of God. A few of them are Job 23:10, Psalm 103:14, and Matthew 6:32. These scriptures talk about God knowing our needs. It also says that He knows our frame or that we are just human. He realizes that we have needs. In Matthew 6 it tells us not to worry about those needs because God knows that we need them and He will take care of us. He tells us to look at the birds and at the lilies. They do not worry and they are taken care of. He wants us to trust Him too and know that He will provide for us.
In conclusion, the omniscience of God is good. Because He knows all things, understands all things, and is aware of all things, we need not worry or fret about anything. All we need to do is make our requests to Him and let Him take care of the rest. It is then at that point that we have to believe that He will do what is best for us.
