Walking into the unknown with no thought,
no selfishness,
no feeling
A robot,
oblivious to the regular world around them
Greatly respected,
at times greatly hated
Living life second by second,
breath by breath,
Not knowing what lies in the path ahead
Underminded,
overlooked,
underpaid
A hero,
a tyrant.
One of many skills,
talents,
and opportunities.
This is and forever will be the life of a soldier.
