The Only One
John was an orphan. All he had was his dog.
He ran away from a lot of adoptive homes and orphanages. His dog was the only companion who could help him out.
The boy walked with the dog in the snow. John had leukemia so he was cherishing his last moments with the dog.
The dog made him happy for his remaining days.
