The first question that popped into my mind is what is this product exactly do. I also wondered if it really worked and what else does it bring to the table. Luckily, my friends provided me with the mouse and allowed me to test it out. What I discovered were many great features that put this multi-button mouse above other similar products currently on the product.
OpenOfficeMouse comes with 18 programmable mouse buttons with double-click functionality. These buttons then come with three different button modes: Key, Keypress, and Macro. Each button mode will make your experience a bit more pleasurable, depending on what comfortability you are looking for. Also, the mouse comes with a Analog Xbox 260-style joystick that comes equipped with 4 to 16-key command modes. This will allow you to experience your Xbox games like never before.
Some of you that read the last paragraph might be asking out loud what the hell I am talking about. The OpenOfficeMouse is a mouse that acts as a partner application to whatever task you want to partner it with. For example, let's say that you do download OpenOffice software. The mouse will enable you with the ability to store saved files on certain buttons. This will give you the ability to open a file with the simple click of your mouse. The mouse sounds a bit more exciting now I bet.
The mouse is not that pretty to look at first. In fact, the appearance of so many different buttons may turn you off from purchasing the mouse. However, if you can get over the idea that there are so many different buttons and understand that you can program them to do just about anything for you, I believe you will fall in love with this product. There are not many products out there that make the programming of your mouse buttons as easy as the OpenOfficeMouse does for you. Take a chance on it and leave impressed with it's overall quality just like I did.
