Many of you may remember the trail down Oregon that highlighted 19th century trail life. Originally played on the Apple II computer, it has slowly amazed a following over the decades. The game has now made its way from Windows to Facebook as an app that is anticipated by all of us that played the game in the 1980's.
Remember the fun of hunting? Still there,. Remember the fun of moving down the trail and exploring as the driver? Still there. How about trying to repair that wagon wheel? Yep; still there.
My favorite part were all the different ways you could die. Oxen, measles, snakebite, dysentery, exhaustion---I would bet all them are there. Wouldn't it be great if you could still write your own tombstone?
I look forward to seeing this, and seeing what will come of it in February for my Facebook. How about you? What was your favorite part?
