The Origin of Tradition

Amanda Kidd
Jesus said, "These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain their teachings are rules taught by men." People, we have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men. How can Christians set aside the commands of God to observe tradition? Jesus says this is hypocrisy, so we must demolish the Catholic Church's religious rituals. While Christians claim to love and obey God, for centuries the Protestant churches have abided by a set of catholic religious laws. Christians must study the Word and obey the truth because the Word says "God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." God's commandment says, "thy shall not bear false witness (lie)," yet many Christians commemorate Christmas, Easter, and Sunday worship, which was manifested during a time when Christians were persecuted for believing and reading the Holy Bible. These were times of bloody, biblical wars during Constantine's rulership. Later, the papacy, which is the strongest religio-political power on earth, ordained the pope as their leader, who claims he is an ecclesiastical power of authority that overrules God's commandments. He admits to altering God's true Holy Seventh Day Saturday to Sunday.

Other satanic leaders, such as Nimrod, who lead a rebellion against God, birthday was given to Christ (Christmas). Easter and its origin are from Mother Goddess Ishtar, who was the goddess of fertility, is symbolized by the rabbit and the egg. She was also engaged in sexual orgies and other immoral acts. Therefore, Christmas or Easter cannot represent Christ who is holy. Christians must reclaim God's true Holy days that are recorded in the Old and New Testaments and are binding today. The religious leaders have incorporated manmade religious rituals such as the counterfeit baptism (sprinkling of water), teaching tongues classes, Holy Communion every first Sunday, and teaching one will burn in hell forever. People, there is simply not enough time or ink to pen the false doctrines that have contaminated the world over centuries. Biblical doctrine does not support these rituals and neither does God's true Christians. The Word warns us to "love the Lord with all of our hearts." We must be a doer of God's Word, not the papacy's. "God's scripture is useful for rebuking, teaching, rectifying, and training in righteousness," so whoever rejects the Word of God, rejects the Lord, not his messengers. The Bible warns that Christians will rebel against God's doctrine to please there own desires. I will pray that Christians realize that Christ is the God over every power and authority. God's people died with Christ to the principles of this world. So rebuke the conspiracy of Satan and let no one take you captive through hollow, deceptive philosophy which relies on pagan tradition rather than on Christ, amen.
