The Outlook on the Chav Culture

Adam Davies
Chavs. Teenagers that are following a false icon of their friends and people they know that they themselves are following of another. The Culture that has gripped the UK has infected the people, the decent citizens of the United Kingdom, is based on nothing. Those that choose, nay, are pressured into joining this Culture, become nothing more than another piece of excriment on your shoe. They give themselves a number, and lose a name. They become a hat, a hoodie and a pair of Nike trainers. They think that their image creates a sense of toughness, of fear, they are under the false impression that they are now 'hard', that they can take anyone in a fight. They think that just because they are now wearing a pathetic 'fashion trend' that they are ultimate fighters. They are the same physical person underneath.

11-year-old children approach me and challenge me to a fight with them, they stand upto the elders who can blaintenly break their little limbs with a singe kick. They challenge you because they know their 'cousin', who quite obviously is the winner of Ultimate Fighter 2.

The fact is, they are under the impression that they are following Rap/R&B Artists and their dress-styles, yet no Rap/R&B Artist dresses like them.

I could go on, but duty calls.
