What do you do when you're 16 years old and your boyfriend hits you and yells at you constantly for any little reason?

Not all men are out to hurt you.

Don't let a man tell you that they love you and then abuse you in any way.

Love hurts sometimes, but shouldn't leave bruises.

It can make you cry sometimes, but they should be tears of happiness.

One day...

I know this because it is what I have experienced. I have been through so much in the short time that I have been alive. I have been abused emotionally, mentally, physically, and verbally. I went through a pattern of one disappointment to the next. I almost gave up hope. I almost stopped looking. Then, I met a guy who changed my world. I learned to allow myself to love again. One of the greatest results of this is my baby boy. Never could I have imagined that I could feel this way about two human beings. They are my life, they are my everything. For this, I am a believer. I believe that it can happen to anyone. Just when you think that no one is out there for you, they are out there searching for you. If you allow positivity in, you will find one another.
