The Paintbrush

If you could take a paintbrush or an eraser

Just what about me would you change? What would you fix?

Is taller, darker, more handsome just what you want?

Or would you make me younger while the clock still ticks?

A dancer would you paint, so suave, who smoothly moves

To sweep you off your feet, the king of hot romance?

Would I be holding roses, fragrance sweet for you?

Oh do you dare to dream you'll have another chance?

Paint what you will, dream all you want, I'm what I am.

You have my heart, my love, and all I have to give.

If I could change for you, I would. You know it's true.

I am I, and you are you. As one, we two live.
