The Paranoid Traveller

Hurry to check-in

Must be

At least three

Hours early

Passports pass checks

Tickets are all ok

The first of many

X-ray machines

Comes next

Remove all metal

Objects

No one is allowed

To object

Next check your bag

Your carry on

You cannot carry this

It's too big

It's not quite right

It doesn't conform

We have to confiscate these

Please remove your shoes

All this to get on a plane

I sometimes wonder

If all this security

Is required

Is it security?

Or is it

Paranoia

Oh well at least I

Have the same on my return.

Maybe I will just

Take the train

Much less of a strain.
