Another night has come,
And another day is gone.
Reeling by so fast,
Perhaps not to last.
And another day is gone.
Reeling by so fast,
Perhaps not to last.
Most people asked too much,
Using up my thoughts as a crutch.
Stolen ideas for their own sake.
Tomorrow will make my head bake.
Rest will not come to me so easy.
Every nightly noise will tease me.
Alas I will fall to sleep,
Leaving behind not even a peep.
Laughter will be my healer.
Young kids will be my heart stealer.
Working so much keeps me sane.
Another day goes as it wanes.
Never again will I see that day.
Tomorrow is hopeful but ends up, today.
My how we all take life so hard.
Every moment counts in this big courtyard.
