Please don't forget this. Check that you have it and then re-check again. Many a group's night has been ruined because one member of the party forgot their Photo ID. Most clubs can be very strict about this no matter how mature or pretty you look. Don't take a chance.
Cute, Comfortable and Danceable Shoes
Ok this can't be stressed enough! If you are the life of the party and you love to have fun. You absolutely must have a comfy and yet stylish pair of shoes. My top pick are wedge shoes. They not only have the support you need for cutting a rug, but have the support your feet crave after the long entrance into a club or hours spent dancing the night away. Heels with a T-strap are great for formal parties and casual club scenes alike. Again support is the name of the game, and a strap across the ankle gives plenty of that. In this winter season, boots are also a great way to look cute and still shake your money-maker all evening long. Don't plan on rocking stilettos, platforms and very pointy toe shoes; unless of course you have someone to cuddle up to in VIP, who will give you a foot massage mid-party while you're getting bottle service.
Colored Lip-gloss
Who wants to have anything less than juicy kissable lips? Trust me guy's notice. When in comes to lip color stick to something portable and easy enough to apply without a mirror. Who has time to constantly return to the ladies' room to put on their lips after every drink or bite of h'ordeurves? Keep a small lip gloss with a neutral shade close to that of you lipstick color handy, and you probably won't have to re-apply lipstick for the whole evening.
Little Black Book
So this is pretty old-school right? Wrong! You have to have a place to store contacts that you want to remember little details on. Like 'Jeff guy with cute smile, busy every day except Sat evening; wants cocktails', or 'Dave, call on Thursday before 8 pm'. It pays to have a little notepaper around when you want to jot down details that a cell phone won't hold. There is something to be said for pre-millennium technology.
Travel-Sized Deodorant and Perfume
There's nothing worst then you deodorant running out on the dance floor. Can you say B.O.! Ugghh! Enough Said!
Plenty of Pre-Party Beauty Rest
You partied hard on Friday evening? Don't worry about running errands early Saturday morning. Take care of them Sunday afternoon, and sleep in until noon. Feeling and looking well rested will affect your party mood. So skip the concealer for the bags under your eyes and get at least 7-8 hours sleep before the night's festivities.
Bring Cash (Never rely on credit only)
Most clubs and other paid events accept credit cards, but a great number only accept cash. Avoid having to pay the club's ATM charges, or worst having to run to the corner store ATM at midnight so you can draw out cash. What if the club doesn't allow in-and-out privileges? Well then you are royally screwed! To handle this problem before it happens, always bring a few extra $20's for drinks and sundrys.
Use this simple checklist and chances are you will have a great time at your bash without too much trouble, that's unless of course you happen to leave with that 'bad boy' your friends said you spent much time talking to while taking Jell-o shots.
