The Passion is Gone

The Passion is Gone

Where has the passion gone, it earned
our independence
We achieved our goals because we had
confidenence.

We fought those that tried to control us.
If one got in the way, we made a fuss.

Now we look to others for our success.
We want another to clean up our mess.

Once we worked to earn our way.
Now we're lazy and want to play.

Our world is crumbling, do we care?
Ask what we can do, we don't dare.

We seem afraid to take control.
Should another choose our goal?

Now is the time to take a stand.
Those who agree, raise their hand.
