In the other way round, the mind is disturbed when it is fed with obnoxious acts or feelings caused by individual(s) or even the environment. Come to think of it, the human mind is easily altered or perturbed by several negative factors like crimes and abuses, inductions by peer groups or even through a forced induced tradition unaccepted by the person(s).
One is only at peace with people if there is no utterance against the natural law that guides the human family. For example, a person of questionable character or a troublesome person will never fit into a society where strict laws exist. If such person exists in a well cultured society, then the mind of the person and people living within the society is troubled as well. In the other way round a peace loving person finds it difficult to leave in noisy society.
Keeping bad companying is a sure key to a troubled mind. In the same vein, living in a noisy society can cause the mind to trouble. The mind is also disturbed when is it idle. No wonder the scripture says, "The idle mind is a devils workshop".
The peaceful mind must have the attributes of relaxing when there is shock and utterance that impels the normal thinking. One must set minds in the things that are really in existence, things that are normal and natural and avoid virtual believe and notions which has tore the world to a great extent. Such virtual notions are the law created by mere mortals (humans) against the wish of their creator (God), materialism as a classical world culture and the worship of money or perishables to mention but a few.
Understanding our mission on earth will help you more to know where you are going to by tomorrow. For if the world painted in gold by the beautiful and sophisticated works of men are someday troubles by tsunami, earthquake, Chinook and hurricane or even by the terrorist or by war, then we are to conclude that the kingdom of God has not yet come. Besides, seeing people die everyday in war, hunger and intimidation, will help you to know that you too will one day follow the dead but be mindful, that's not the end as a believer.
You will experience difficulties in life but the fact remained that you must be at peace with God and man. It may not be clearly understood by an average person but what Jesus Christ demonstrated when he was on earth is a clear evidence. He humbled himself as an ordinary man, was beaten up by the armies and finally was crucified just for the sake of truth. So, let not your heart be troubled. Find a way to ensure you are always at peace with God and man.
Besides, ensure all the temporary thinking (troubles) in you are always erased as you delete temporary deleted files from the recycle bin of your computer. Find yourself busy doing good things not just for the sake of being noticed or paid but for the fact that it's good and would help your mind health.
The peaceful mind will always do things without fear or favour, will always have passion for others irrespective of race, region or religion and should ensure that noting whatsoever disturbs the normal preinstalled human reasoning. That will always be our guide. Peace and love of God be with you always.
