The Pedegg Lives Up to Its Claim of Smoothing Your Feet

B. Hatcher
How many infomercials do we watch and wonder does it work? Millions, if not billions of dollars are spent on items we see on TV. Only to find out that they were underestimated and more money has been wasted. Local TV news stations do reports on "Seen on TV" products to help us from making that fatal mistake. I personally am not big on buying items off the TV. However, I was told how great the Pedegg worked, I had to try it. If the Pedegg could help cure my dry, flaky winter feet; I would be sandal ready in no time.

Lucky for me I did not have to order the Pedegg and pay for shipping and handling or wait by the mailbox wondering will it show up today. Instead I went to my local Walgreens and purchased it for the price of $9.99. Walgreens has a section of "As Seen on TV" items. The other best kept secret about Walgreens is if you purchase an item and are not 100% satisfied you can return it. So when I purchased the Ped Egg, I had nothing to lose. If it did not provide me with smoother feet, then off I would go and return it back to Walgreens.

Once I returned home, I read the simple instructions on how to use the egg. I took off my socks, looked at my feet and muttered "here goes nothing". The egg is shaped just like an egg, comes with a blade and a holder for the shaving. An emery board surface can be applied to the top of the egg, for smoothing after you are done scraping. You glide the across the bottom of your foot it, removes the dead callous skin without cutting into your foot. The shape is made to ergonomically fit into your hand and provide a smooth motion as you guide it across the foot. Even with dry feet it was amazing how much of the dead skin the egg removed. The blade is not sharp so there is no worry of cutting yourself or your foot. I could see the difference right away. Included in the package are two emery board stickers that fit on the cover for smoothing after you are done removing the old skin.

When you are finished with the egg, you simple rinse and dry the blade, clean out the area that captures the dead skin. Place cover on top and store till the next time you use it. Once I was done with the egg, I applied some foot lotion and a pair of socks to my feet. After using the egg three times I am already closer to having nice sandal feet again, after a long cold winter.

Although many "As Seen on TV" products do not live up to their claim, the Pedegg does. The Pedegg is one that does, and at a reasonable price. For $9.99 plus tax you can have back your sandal feet just in time for the new season.
