The People's Media Dress Fashion Show

Didi
Welcome to The People's Media Dress Fashion Show. On show is a collection of five dresses catering for lady's of differing age groups. All the dresses are ultra feminine and they are chosen to accommodate all types of body shapes. I hope they inspire your summer wardrobe this 2007. All these dresses can be purchased internationally or at home at Mango the Irish branch. I hope you are enlivened by the show.

1. The first dress I will mention is rather unique, in that it has an early 1990's flavor. It reminds me somewhat of the twin's attire from Sweet Valley High. It is not difficult to visualize a beautiful blond on roller-blades skating down the promenade in sunny California in this number. It is not very close to a smock, which is why I mentioned it first. It has more of a sporty, juvenile hint to it. The pale pink and grey and the cut around the outer vest and the appearance of a mini skirt all give it its energy.

2. The second is a dress in the 1960's style. The cut of the neck is very flattering to ones shoulders. It is a very chick and smart dress and would go wonderfully with high heels. One might visualize a lady strolling through the streets of Milan in this outfit, or sitting outside a glamorous coffeehouse adjusting her makeup with a compact mirror. I like this dress.

3. Next we have the classic black dress. Possibly this number may suit a slimmer lady as the top of it is rather tight fitting. Although compensating for the tight fitting of the top is a loose and pleated skirt area.

4. A rock-chick figure-clinging grey tea-shirt style smock such as this would go great with a pair of leggings, preferably black because of the grey top. I like this, it is for the less extreme of us rock chicks.

5. This smock is wonderful for the figure. The neck area is black and flatters the shoulders while the dress is ironically a pair shape, the effect is that it makes the shoulders and legs look smaller, and while flagrantly puffing out in the center to its pockets at the side; it deceptively hides any waist in the name of fashion. The motif on the dress is based on a Greek design but with a contemporary edge.
