Everyone knows that a Christmas party isn't a Christmas party without a Christmas tree. Get a small tree and place it towards the corner of the room. Decorate it with ornaments and then take some empty boxes that are wrapped and place them underneath the tree. If this is a more intimate party, place real gifts under the tree.
Christmas party decorations are always available. If you have windows that you want to decorate, look at all the window decorations. Place them all over the windows to add a special something to the look of the area. There are stockings and pictures that are always available. Pick up some of these little trinkets and items to add to a unique aspect for you party.
Icicle lights can be found just about anywhere you look for Christmas party decorations. The thing about icicle lights is that you can place them above a door or above a dance floor to cause a fun affect for your guests. The icicle lights fall down causing you to think there are icicles or stars falling down all around you.
Another great idea that you must have for Christmas parties is candy. Candy in beautiful Christmas bowls or stockings will always be a great hit. Everyone knows that during Christmas time, there is going to be a lot of goodies to eat. Don't let your guest down by not having candy available.
The number one item that you must have for any Christmas part is mistletoe. You should place mistletoe above any and all doors that are available to enter or leave during your party. This is a color addition to what you have and it gives people a fun tradition to follow.
