The Perfect Dream

I have had an intermittent dream
about spending time with "my perfect guy"
I awaken from the dream feeling enchanted
somehow knowing this person will make my life complete
But I don't have any idea who this guy even is;
I don't think I have ever even seen him before
So, how do you picture a face you've never seen?
How do you know what if feels like to be near him and to hold his hand
when you've never been in his presence?
How can you melt at the sound of his voice
when you've never actually heard him speak?
And how do you rise the next morning
feeling sated by the embrace from a lover you've never known?
