The Perfect Florida Family Fun Parks: Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park and Busch Gardens

Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park offered a variety of water-based activities. Nevertheless, the park was severely strict on their rules. No masks, snorkels, swim fins were allowed so we were left with no choice but to leave all of these inside the car. Children under 12 should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times which meant that I would be the baby sitter for my younger sister. We were all asked to wear our life jackets as part of the precautionary procedures as well.

After we were all oriented to the park rules, we went on our individual water escapades. There were over 40 water attractions to choose from, but my sister and I opted to go to the Wave Pool. My brother went to the Tiki River Run.

Mother and Father chose to go to Pleasure Island. We also went and experienced the Wild Monkey River . It was certainly a long and winding experience. My brother on the other hand was so proud of himself after he successfully rode on Jumanji, a slide which is over 70 feet tall. The experience was indeed full of adrenaline rushes and fun.

Tons of Rides at Busch Gardens

My friends thought I was in Africa when they saw our picture in Busch Gardens. The adventure is worth remembering and I captured all of these memories using my camera.

We rode on an open-truck and wandered throughout the 65 acre of Serengeti Plain. My sister was all laughs as she got nose-to-nose with a giraffe. We were educated about zebras, bongos, elands and ostriches. My hands were tied as I attempted to capture as many shots as I can.

Before leaving the park, I decided to ride the Montu. I could not waste the golden opportunity to ride the top steel coaster in this world which is composed of 4,000 feet of track, record-breaking seven inversions and 80 foot high braking platform with a speed of more than 40 miles an hour. All of my friends did not have the guts to ride the Montu but I did. But after one ride, I vowed to never ever set foot on it again.
