The Guests- You will have to give great consideration to the guest, especially to those whose presence is very important. In picking the wedding location for your wedding, think about how your guest will be able to get there. Are they mobile? If you have chosen a very remote place that not everyone has access to, like at a province for example, you might want to provide your guest with the transportation. This will be a scratch off your budget however, it is a once in a lifetime event.
The Weather- If you want the wedding location to be at the beach for a beach wedding, or on a hill top, or a garden, put into consideration the possibility of rain on your wedding day. Make sure you have both rain and shine of the day covered. Have a tent ready incase it start to pour on your outdoor wedding.
The Budget- In everything you do for the preparation of the wedding, budget it! In choosing the wedding location, have in mind the budget that you and your fiancé have set. How much are you willing to pay for the location of your wedding? How much money are you willing to put in? As you canvass for the location, it will also help if you list down their rates. Do not forget to ask the basis of their charges; is it according to the number of people you want to accommodate or per hour?
The Theme or Motif- Make sure that the wedding location jives well with the wedding theme or motif you are having. If your wedding theme is Hawaiian, it is only proper to have the wedding by the beach.
The Work- Measure the amount of work you are willing to do for your wedding location, if you want a garden wedding and you are not willing to put up much work, go have the wedding at a garden restaurant or something like it. If you want to save, you can have the wedding at your own garden, but you will be required to do a lot of work however, to make it happen.
The Significance- It would be very nice and romantic if you are to have a wedding location that is highly significant to both you and your partner. You can have your wedding at your school chapel for example, the school that you both spent your elementary days together and where you both first met.
Wherever you choose to have your wedding location, it will always still be a precious moment to remember. If the wedding location is new and with no significance yet, then mark that on that day, it will be remembered as the magical place where you both got wed!
