The Perfume Alternative - How to Make Your Own Refreshing and Calming Body Sprays

So you are interested in making your own body sprays. If you are looking for a great alternative to perfume, body sprays are a wonderful choice. They are a lot less expensive than perfume. Body sprays range from invigorating and refreshing to calming and relaxing. These scented body sprays can easily be made in the comfort of your own home. Just follow the easy steps below.

Summer Body Spray
1 teaspoon lemon essential oil (or fresh peelings)
1 teaspoon cucumber essential oil (or fresh peelings)
1 cup water

Gentle Rain Body Spray
2 cups distilled water
3 tablespoons vodka
5 drops sandalwood essential oil
10 drops bergamont essential oil
10 drops cassis essential oil

Vanilla Body Spray
3 teaspoons of vanilla extract (pure or artificial) or 10 drops vanilla essential oil
1 cup of distilled water
1 teaspoon of rubbing alcohol

Relaxing Lavender Body Spray
1 cup distilled water
8 - 10 drops essential oil of lavender

Refreshing Body Spray
3 cups of Distilled Water
1 tablespoon of Sweet Almond Oil
4 drops of Juniper
3 drops of Lavender
3 drops of Rosemary

These directions are the same for each product above.
Mix all the ingredients together than shake well. Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Be sure to label the contents. Then allow to settle for at least 12 hours.
Shake the bottle before each use to mix the ingredients.

I know essential oils can be a bit spendy but they last along time. Even half a dozen bottles will cost less than 1 bottle of decent perfume. With the essential oils you can make many bottles.
