The Political System is Broken: Examples in Alaska

Welcome to part 2 of my studies into the mind of our corrupt dictator wannabe lobbyist whores, or as you like to call them, congress.

If you recall my previous post, you'll remember that being implicated by Jack Abramoff or Tom Delay makes me believe you should be fired. Also, I believe in term limits and disagreeing with your own party. Alaska ought to be fun with its fun oil company linked contributors and lifelong politicians

GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN: She has only been in office for about a year, so I imagine I do not have much to go on. Honestly, even though we are different political parties, I have to respect someone who can file claims of ethical violations against her own party, and who tries to sell private jets bought for previous politicians by lobbying groups. Plus, her approval rating is 90% which is the highest in the country.

SENATOR TED STEVENS: The guy served in world war 2 and held political positions in the Eisenhower administraton. He has been in the Senate for 39 years. The guys like the dictator of Alaska, and its terrifying to think we have allowed something like this to happen. I can forgive him for not knowing what the internet does, however he is completely in bed with the oil companies and probably is working directly with Dick Cheney to undermine this country. He should be fired for his oil company crimes, although all his investigations are going to help him lose the 2008 elections.

SENATOR LISA MURKOWSKI: I have nothing against her that would warrant her firing, but I don't like her environmental record and she doesn't deserve the job she has because her father appointed her to it. She needs to be replaced because of this.

REPRESENTATIVE DON YOUNG: When I say term limits bother me, I am usually just using it as one of my reasons to fire someone, but as of right now, I am making myself a new rule to go along with Rules 1 (Association with Jack Abramoff), and Rule 2 (Associated with Tom Delay).

PILLOWPANTS THIRD RULE OF CONGRESS: Anybody elected before 1980 is not automatically fired

I am sure I can find legitimate reasons to fire the sole representative from Alaska. Oh Young and Ted Stevens tried to get 223 million for a bridge to nowhere. I see Jack Abramoff's name there as well, and apparently this Don Young guy is also implicated in the Ted Stevens oil scandal as well.

So for an Arkansas run down. The Governor seems honest, and everyone else should be fired, no offense to Lisa Murkowski. She just didn't get elected legitimately to start her career.

As of right now, I am 50-50 on the Governors, 5/8 in the House of Representatives, and all the Senators are worthy of firing. Stay tuned for Part three of 50 of the "The Political System is broken," series.
