The Politician
A plenipotentiary panjandrum
Evincing frangible machinations
He prevaricates
With veritable lacuna in his statements
Perambulating among the masses
Covered by bibelots
Badges of his own accord
Countervailing the people's word
A tomato flies through the air
His face, it hits square
A statement from the masses
An apposite gesture, truly fair
