The Pornography Debate

Pornography on the internet is an interesting debate. People say it's wrong, and cite religious texts and the ilk. People say it's right, will tell you its freedom of speech and leave it at that. Neither side look into their rationale beyond their gut reactions that have been colored by religious views or hard lined opinions of the Constitution.
While pornography is freedom of speech, it's also freedom of choice. You can choose to look, and use safe search filters and use software like net nanny to avoid porn. You can chose to disrobe for the camera or not.

Choosing is what makes us a great nation. However given the current trend of taking away our choice, we should at least fight to keep this one.
As someone who runs a solo girl amateur porn site, rules and laws affect me. I believe there should be rules and regulations to an extent. All models should be over eighteen years of age, and be able to prove it. Outside of that the government shouldn't be able to censor human sexuality.

Pornography is a form of speech, just like an article or story it is protected by law. Sharing photos and videos is just like running an alternative newspaper. Some people choose to express themselves pornographically.

After all, some of history's most revered classical works of literature were once deemed pornography. Leading to the point that pornography is difficult to accurately define. It is not just photos and videos its also a term used to describe certain written works and cinematic films. Defining porn is a personal thing. The old quote goes, "I can't tell you what's the difference between art and porn, but I'll know it when I see it."

In choosing to regulate porn, someone must make the rules on what is or is not okay. Who decides? I mean yes all models should be eighteen but after that, what's up for grabs? Most fetishes are not understood and deemed as dirtier than they actually are. Porn has always been around and will always be. The internet has just made it easier to access than in the 1970s.
