The Potty Book for Girls is a Must for Little Girls Learning to Potty Train

Potty training can be a rewarding yet frustrating experience for parents. We need all the help we can get when it comes to getting our little ones trained. While many take their time and let the kids set their own timing, others want their children potty trained as soon as possible. Whatever parenting style you personally have, this wonderful book with inspire little ones to take the first step in letting go of diapers.

Let me start by first saying that this is a beautiful little book. The Potty Book for Boys is also available in the colors of blue, donning a little boy on the front cover. However,The Potty Book for "Girls" is a glossy pretty in pink color, with an adorable little cartoon girl on the front who goes by the name of Hannah.

The entire book is told by little Hannah. She starts out by introducing herself. She is smiling in her little bathrobe holding her teddy bear. She then goes through the motions of telling about her life and how her day goes ( diaper change time with a frown on her face, breakfast, brush teeth, get dressed, etc.)

She then gets into the main plot of the book, the potty! Mommy has bought her a suprise and she tries to guess what it is ( A boat? A fish bowl? A rocking chair?), then seems a bit anxious, like most kids, when she sees it is a potty. After having a few accidents, she then tells the kids what she does to help herseld potty. She sings or sometimes reads while she waiting for the "poo-poo" or " peepee" to come. The rest of the book is Hannah trials with the new potty and Mommy and Daddy congratulating her when she finally gets it down. Grandma then gets a call and Hannah gets her very own big girl underwear. She now can run, play, and slide in big girl underwear instead of the "icky" diaper.

This is basically a fun read along book that my daughter absolutely adores. She loves Hannah so much that every other day she will tell me, " I am not Haleigh! I am Hannah!" With that, she will run to the potty dragging along her teddy bear just like Hannah. It's said that children like to do what other children do, and in my daughter's case, this is true ( even if it is a cartoon kid!)

This fun little cartoon book that is narrated by a 2/3 year helped me more with the potty training process than any of the "doctor" books or adult books.

I 100% recommend this book. Even if you do not have as much luck with the potty training process as we did with the book ( every child is different), the characters and the funness of the book alone is worth it to give it a shot.
