As a Christian, Gods words are the most important words in my life. As a person who worries all the time, I particularly love Matthew 6:25 which tells us, "that is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing?" I read this passage often to remind me not to worry about the small things. Verses 6:33 and 6:34 state, "but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." These are powerful words that always remind me that God has always provided for me and always will, so I need to focus on today and not worry about having enough tomorrow.
I am not perfect by far, but I always do my best to follow Gods word. Gods words are extremely important to me, and I never cease to abide by them. Gods words give me comfort and hope, since I know that I'm going to a better place after my life on earth is over. I'm not afraid to die since I know that death isn't the end of life. In fact death is the beginning of a much better life with God.
God gave us a list of ten commandments, and tells us to follow them if we want to gain the kingdom of heaven. These commandments were given to us orally, and God gave them to us for a reason. God wants what's best for us, and he wants us to live good clean lifestyles. God knows what's best for us, and he gave us these commandments to keep us away from trouble and out of harms way.
Do you have any doubt about the power of Gods words? Just look at a rainbow and remember the Arc of the Covenant. God made a promise to Noah to never flood the Earth again, and he has kept true to his word. God has always kept true to his word. God never tries to trick or deceive us with his word, and he wants us to know his truth. Gods words are worth more than all the gold in the world, and they are the most important words anyone will ever hear.
