The Power of Laughter

Robert Archibald
Laughter sometimes is painful

And hurts you way down deep

Especially when you laugh so hard

You cause your eyes to weep

What made us laugh- that is hard to tell

But this I know is true

My sides are sore, my face feels cracked

I'm weak all over too

Nothing can down a person who laughs

Though he may be laughing thru tears

For laughter has power this no one can deny

To drive away sadness and fears

(In memory of Grandma Chilcoat)
