Focus

When you make a list, it gives your mind something to focus on. It gives you a direction. Making a list helps you develop a mental image in your mind of what you want to achieve.

Eliminate Doubt

When you make a list; you know exactly what you are setting out to do. There's no doubt or second-guessing about what your intent is because it's all written on the list.

Clarify

Making a list helps to clarify your sense of purpose by giving you a clear road map to follow. The power of making a list is so simple and phenomenal. When you have a list, you know exactly what to do. When you have a list to go by, all the steps are broken down for you. It's easy to visualize yourself doing everything on the list.

Direction

When you have a list to work by, you can get more meaningful things done than you ever could without a list. The reasoning behind this is that a list gives you direction. When you follow a list, you don't aimlessly go about your day, you move in a specific direction. And, when you move in a specific direction; you're bound to reach a specific destination.

Priorities

The power of making a list is clearly beneficial. When you make a list, your mind automatically makes priorities as to what comes first, second, third; and so on.

Work

While making a list does require some work, thinking, and planning; it's well worth the effort. It's much better to have things planned out ahead of time; than it is to aimlessly arrive at a destination that you might not like.
