The Power of the Pen

Kitty Stevens
"It's like your pen knows Kung Fu," she said to me one day.
Not knowing how to take that I simply said thank you, still I wondered what to say.

Then I decided that it must mean something, and began to write some more.
I thought about the words again and the ideas were no more a chore.

Instead I found that there is strength in the power of the pen.
Writing became a way to share the thoughts that roam inside my head.

The writer is a Kung Fu warrior covering the stories as they come.
So if you are ever thinking of doing something that you don't want known by everyone -

You better remember this, that the writer's pen is like a gun.
