The Power of Positive Thought for Weight Loss
Diet and Nutrition is Important, but so is Being Positive
I became very sick after losing a lot of weight because I wasn't getting enough protein and was so scared all the time. But if you get the right amount of food and eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, you will be healthier. I just don't recommend starving yourself to look like a model.
Love life, don't get caught up with negative people. I go to church now, I don't really mind losing weight and being lonely. Some people are being nicer to me. I guess I will always misunderstand guys. But if you keep dwelling in the negative, bad things might happen.
The Secret talks about this. If you are always complaining about relationships, you will have bad relationships. I tried being positive when I was young, but a lot of negative people in my life made me miserable. But I have since become more positive again. Especially since feeling better, because I work out more and get proper nutrition.
You can't keep getting exposed to garbage and expect to feel good. Garbage in, garbage out, the computer programmers say. So eat healthy, stay positive, and don't let crazy people in Hollywood tell you how to lead your life.
I think we all need a TV diet. Watching two hours of TV or more can cause you to gain weight. Especially if you watch it every day. It takes more energy to take a nap than to watch TV. That's how bad it is for you. I tense up when I watch TV.
Have a goal. Maybe you'd like to start looking better so you'd feel better. But are you doing everything you can to achieve that goal? Do you work out half an hour to an hour most days? Do you eat healthy? And I don't mean starving yourself. Do you eat whole grains and vegetables and lean meats? They can be healthy as long as you get enough essential fatty acids and protein.
You need to get enough protein or you'll start craving sugar. I snack on nuts and cheese and other high protein snacks. I also love beets. Which is really good because it has antioxidants. A rainbow of food gives you antioxidants when you get enough veggies and fruits. Carrots and sweet potatoes can actually help you get rid of colds.
