A word is a wonderful thing
It can heal or it can sting
Choose the right word and you will sound
powerful in speech to all those around
A single word can decide the fate
of a criminal kept in Newgate
A few words spoken out loud
can make you feel bold and proud
The right word at the right time
can easily change a person's mind
A word can let you fly like a bird
Oh, the power within a word!
It can heal or it can sting
Choose the right word and you will sound
powerful in speech to all those around
A single word can decide the fate
of a criminal kept in Newgate
A few words spoken out loud
can make you feel bold and proud
The right word at the right time
can easily change a person's mind
A word can let you fly like a bird
Oh, the power within a word!
