If you want a brake down on several demanding current issues on Obama and McCain's standpoint, then you need to read 'The Pied Pipers of Washington' (by Martin Weiss PhD., moneyandmarkets.com). The link below will take you to this vital report on what will happen if either one becomes President. No one agrees with everything every future/current President wants. However, when choosing one, you need to remember the saying, 'choose the lesser of two evils'. Do not choose by how well he may or may not interact with the people, or how much he makes himself public. You need to make the ultimate choice on the overall situations. Do not be distracted by a presidential hopeful with his awesome resolutions to current situations. You must be careful of what you ask for. The idea may seem to be able to solve a problem, but in the end, you may pay dearly and think it was not worth it. You cannot forget to remember our Constitution or the Bill of Rights. Do not forget the patriots and soldiers that have bled or died fighting for our freedoms and rights, they are not free; someone will always pay for them. Nothing is free in this world; someone will always pay for it. Support each other, not socialist leaders. They will only turn this country into another Cuba, or Russia during Hitler and others. We the people run this country, we the people speak our minds with voting on who we want to speak for us. We the people speak our minds on what we want this country to be, and where we want to go. We are the people; we are the ones that run this country. We have failed! Let's get this country back on its feet so we can fly our flag with pride.

Everyone blamed the President and FEMA for the lack of immediate help after Hurricane Katrina. Well all of those people are idiots. It is up to your state and local government officials to have emergency preparedness. If the Governor of that state did not call for federal back up, then how are they supposed to know the state needed help. FEMA would assume that the state has everything taken care of. Unless, the state calls FEMA, or FEMA calls the state and no response. The tragic events that played when Katrina hit, was due to the Governor not being prepared. FEMA was called in late and that is why there was late intervention. You should blame the Governor of Louisiana and all state officials for the lack of transportation for evacuation, lack of supplies and planning. Lack of, and tardiness of everything.
We have no money to support immigrants or foreigners. We are in a major deficit that gets bigger every day. These people come to this country and refuse to learn our language, follow laws and other regulations. They are quick to collect our money that gives them a new house, a new job, a new bank account, and a new car. They essentially have a brand new life in less than a year of getting here and some of our own people live in shambles with no insurance or the hope of improving their life. Can't afford used clothes for their kids. No money to fix the old car that they own. No money to buy clothes for that better job. Don't get me wrong, not all immigrants/foreigners are like this, but large percentages are. We should not accept any more immigrants and definitely do not give them a house or car. The ones that are here should be made to learn English within a year, as well as get employment. This may sound cold, but if you knew how much money and things that are given to each one, you would gasp with an appalling opinion of the local and federal government. We can make a difference and it starts with electing the right people to make the right decisions for us.
The 'No Child Left Behind' program is not that great. It does not let the children excel. If you have a class size of 25, 10 are average, 8 are advanced, and the remaining 7 are below average, then you will hinder those smart 8 children by not letting them advance because you won't let go of those 7. Those 7 need to be taken out of the equation, and put into another class to get up to par; if they can. Those 10 average kids will not be anything more than they are. Everyone goes at the same pace/level no matter what. It is not right. Make those kids who do not speak fluent English, take other classes until they do, then they can rejoin the rest of the kids their age. Again, it sounds harsh, but we need to do for the mass, not the few. This country only gets better with excelling, not staying average. Private schools cost too much, otherwise, many parents would put their smart kids there to make sure they are not held back and given the world of opportunities to advance all they want.
We should not pull our troops out right away. If the project needs to be terminated, then it should be done very gradually. Why? It would make the US look weak and would give the go ahead for other tyrant countries to come here and start fighting. All because we showed weakness, we would turn into the Middle East with their fighting for centuries. Our children's children will still be fighting. There will be no end, no peace. It doesn't matter if you agree with the way the war started over there, or just don't agree with the war itself; we must agree that pulling out is bad, a show of weakness. Don't give in to fear, it always makes things worse. We all love every soldier and would love to see them all come home. Especially the ones we know. That doesn't make it the right thing to do. They knew the risks when they signed up and they still chose to fight for all of us. They deserve all that we can give them, but showing weakness will get them killed.
It is our right to bear arms, it says so in the Constitution. We have the right to protect our homes and families. You are letting Congress change our Constitution with Amendments. Take away this - add that. What harm could that do? Plenty... socialism is government rule. Socialism is no power of the people. People do not run a socialistic country the country rules the people. We have lost a lot already, and I don't know if we can ever get it back. Take control of your own lives and vote for freedom, vote for rights, vote for democracy!
This article was written, in part, with my own opinion. I believe I was fair with both presidential candidates and I am open for comments. For the record, I am a Republican with pride and I believe that this country is headed for disaster including socialism. Democrats, in general, love the freebies and give-a-way programs. This will continue to put our country at risk. I hope we can turn it around before that happens.
