The Price of the Game

A.M. Morgan
If silence could speak

It would reveal an inconvenient truth

The eyes tell a story without the mind thinking it through

The grass is not greener it is just a mirage

There are a new set of issues waiting for you on the other side

The temptation is a test and your patience is on the line

Can you handle life's roller coaster ride?

You will fall in and out of love

Have many jobs or completely change careers

You will often stumble but can still rise above your fears

The choice is yours to play or concede

But seek no immunity or deny that things will change

Like or not

This is the price of the game

Sometimes the greatest risk is not taking the chance. The opportunity cost.

Wonderful! I enjoyed. For me, I always love who I loved. Sometimes, they do not love back or change...maybe they never did. Your poem is thought inspiring. I loved. :-)
