My day begins around 9. I stretch and yawn and finally I get going. There's no hurry; I have plenty of time. After a quick snack I go into the grounds around my Palace. The servants have been up and about for hours, catering for my every need. I know, because they sleep in my chambers. They are working the grounds now, taking out all the weeds and prickles, so I don't step on them. I sit with them for a while, and we chat. Sometimes, to help them, I dig around a bit, but they don't appreciate me working with them so I sit in the shade and leave them to it.
My underlings don't work either, it seems. Since they are not servants, they don't have to. In the morning they take off, sometimes not to be seen 'till night-time. I don't really care where they go; I get tired of them sometimes. They argue a lot at times and guess who is to settle the argument? Me. But that is part of my job. I also have to deal with intruders to my Kingdom. They seem to come and go as they please, but I am well equipped with powerful weapons and I chase them out. They just have to go back to their own Kingdoms, I'm busy as it is.
My servants don't eat as well as we do, most of the time.Their meals sure don't look appetizing. Sometimes they think they are doing me a favor by letting me sit with them. Since I'm not a total snob I do just that, just to humor them. I love socializing. But they hunt for my food so that I don't have to. And they are pretty good at it, every day there's plenty of food on my table. I could do the hunting myself, I'm well trained to kill. But that is not necessary.
My servants do get some time off at times. I have two servants, 1 male and a female. The male takes off in the morning, and comes back in the evening, smelling really sweaty, but nice. The female stays with me, most of the time. She needs me because I'm artistic too and I give my advise on the painting. I take out the brushes for her, I choose the colors. I stick around and try several poses, just in case she wants to paint my portrait. I'm a handsome fellow, after all.The female also seems to spend a lot of time in front of a box, tapping on something. I haven't quite figured out what it is. It isn't very interesting to me, so I look up to her. She is very big and she looks down on me. She smiles. I tell her I want a hug. She looks into my big green eyes. She takes me in her arms. I start purring. Because I'm a cat, and this is my world, my Kingdom.

I never knew I could write until I joined AC. I paint, I write, love animals and ironing. (no not the last one but it looked better). View profile
