The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Review

If you are planning a trip to Toyko, Japan in the future, consider staying at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo in Minato, Japan. The hotel was ranked number two in the 2010 Travelers' Choice Top 25 Hotels in Japan. It is a four and a half star hotel where you can stay for about $150 to $400 per night, depending on the room.

There is a shuttle bus that will take you from the hotel to Hamamatsucho Station in about 15 minutes. There, you can get on a train and travel all over the city. There is also a shuttle directly to the airport. Conveniently, the hotel rents out bicycles so you can do some sightseeing. It costs 500 yen to rent a bike for an hour.

The hotel is near several of Tokyo's attractions. The Tokyo Tower is a few minute walk away. The Zojoji Temple, which is the family temple of the Tokugawa dynasty, is about ten minutes from the hotel. The Roppongi Hills area is full of shops, restaurants, an art museum, and a park. This area is two stops away on the subway.

There are many handy facilities within the hotel. A business center is available with computers and printers. The fitness facilities are very nice but you must pay about $20 per day to use them. There is a pool, training gym, and aerobics studio. In the basement, there is a small bowling alley that also has some other games such as pool and darts. This is a fun place to hang out if you need to kill some time.

There is a restaurant in the hotel called Brise Verte. It is on the top floor of the hotel so there is an excellent view, especially at night. The restaurant uses local ingredients to make Western cuisine. The food is quite good but overpriced. If you prefer Japanese or Chinese food, there are less expensive restaurants located in the basement of the hotel. We did not try these restaurants as we preferred to go out for local food.

The interior of the hotel is decorated in a modern style. Everything was kept acceptably clean. Our room was larger than I expected and gave us plenty of room for two people.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The girl at the front desk when we checked in was knowledgeable about the area and made some good suggestions of where we should go.
