The Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

Disney has done it again! The Princess and the Frog from Walt Disney Productions is the studio's newest animated feature. The Princess and the Frog is loosely based on E. D. Baker's novel The Frog Princess, is Disney's 49th feature animated film. Additionally, it the first to use traditional animation (hand drawn and painting) since 2004's Home on the Range.

The film, set in 1920's New Orleans, features Broadway-style songs, a fantastic story, and memorable characters such as Princess Tiana who is Disney's first African-American Princess, Prince Naveen, and Charlotte "Lottie" La Bouff.

In fact, The Princess and the Frog has been well received by critics and has done very well at the box office. Roger Ebert, the film critic for the Chicago Sun-Times said, "This is what classic animation once was like!" and, in his print review wrote, "No 3-D! No glasses! No extra ticket charge! No frantic frenzies of meaningless action! And...good gravy! A story! Characters! A plot!" The Los Angeles Time's film critic, Betsy Sharkey , wrote a glowing review"With The Princess and the Frog they've gotten just about everything right. The dialogue is fresh-prince clever, the themes are ageless, the rhythms are riotous and the return to a primal animation style is beautifully executed."
