The Private Eye

After a crazy couple of months and more stress than we have had in a few years, I was hopeful things were going to get better.

Not!..I went outside on Wednesday morning, last week to sit and drink my coffee as I have done for several years now, weather permitting. When I walked out the door, I saw a new Chevy Surburban with tinted windows parked across the street in the Furniture Store parking lot.

My first thought was "That looks odd". My second thought was it was a Private Detective or a Policeman trying to be incognito and undercover. I laughed at that point because, whoever it was, they were a long way from being unnoticed.

With two brothers, an uncle and a cousin, who were police officers for many years, it would be sort of dumb of me "NOT" to notice.

I just took pictures the first day and watched through my binoculars. I had a feeling in the pit of my stomach that told me, they were watching us. Around 10 am, we drove down to the Community College to try and enroll my husband for Summer classes. We didn't see the Suburban behind us, but upon arrival back at home, he showed up in short order.

As I was going through the house, out the front door to the mailbox, less than 5 minutes after we arrived, the Suburban pulled in the parking lot again. I just stood there watching him. He pulled off suddenly and circled the block several times. Then he disappeared.

On Thursday morning, same scenario, same morning coffee schedule. 6:26 AM, in pulls the same Chevy Suburban, in the same place as before.

I just sat and drank my coffee and smoked my cigarette and watched. Around 7 AM, I called the police and reported the vehicle as suspicious. The police officer called me back an hour later and told me it was a Private Investigator and he was investigating someone in the neighborhood.

I took some more pictures and then blew them up and noticed that you could see the silver camera, mounted to the steering wheel. With the way the sun was coming up from the behind the truck, it reflected off of the silver casing. It gave me a great image of the camera, pointed in my direction.

I immediately got dressed, brushed my hair and started across the street with my digital camera to confront the man.

When I got to the truck, I said hello. It took him about 10 seconds to open the window. I could see he was turning the camera and shutting it off.
I told him, I knew what was going on and that I knew who was behind him being there. He just sat there with a dumb look on his face and said, "What?"

I told him to leave us alone and to tell the people behind it I was going to write even more. I wanted to post the picture of the seriously fat man. I don't have any desire to ruin him. He obviously has many issues already, with one being, he is not very good at his job.

I can't positively prove who is behind this. However, within 10 minutes of me walking away from the Private Eye, he left. Then he tried to circle the block and kept coming around and around looking at us. I finally walked to the end of the street with my camera and took his picture when he came around.

He has disappeared since last Thursday. I don't see any other vehicles and I would think my letter to the attorney for the people who fired my husband would make it clear that we know how dirty and low they will go.

I can only speculate on the people behind this. I can say without any reservation that I know the Private Eye was watching us. His obvious lack of experience and his blunders of surveillance, gave his game away.

I honestly feel that my husbands ex employers are behind this. They are the only people that have a grudge against us. They are extremely angry because I told the truth and they know they have lied.

When a business will stoop to trying to dig up dirt on an average, blue collar worker, because they told the truth, they will go to any lengths to save themselves.

How does that affect their business practices? If they are willing to lie, cheat and hire a PI to keep someone quiet, Are they willing to destroy an individual, when they were at fault to begin with?

I think they are. I think they will try to shut me up anyway they can. They have only been in business for 7 years. They took a profitable business and stuck their ownership to the already working title. They have used that title to treat people with disrespect and have operated as though THEY built the business from the ground up. This all while they are running it in the ground. Do their customers know the truth?

I can't technically prove who hired the PI and I am sure they will lie until they fall over. I can only keep trying to do the right thing and if they are so bored, they choose to waste time watching us, then pay the dummy Private Investigator some more money.

If I see him again or anyone else watching me, I will go to the Police and file harassment charges. Then we will see who is really behind this craziness.

You have to feel sad for a company that has abused their opportunity to run a successful business. You have to feel sad that they have so little disregard for the people who pay their bills. They will go to any lengths to cause us grief because I told the truth about the way they do business.
However, since we live in America and since we have "Freedom of Speech", I have chosen to defend my husband and myself in this grave matter. You can't keep doing bad things to people and not expect for it to come back around...
