The stars could fall,
and the planets could implode,
but I've got your Word, Lord.
I've got your Word.
The nations could rise up,
and the Earth could rock,
but I've got your Word, Lord.
I've got your Word.
The moon could be extinguished,
and the sun's shadow could move.
But I've got your Word, Lord.
I've got your Word.
The horn of plenty could be empty,
and the lights go out here,
but I've got your Word, Lord.
I've got your Word.

Lovely :)
Pretty disturbing piece:)
I agree with Fay. This would be a beautiful song. :-)
very nicely done - I love the title 'The Prise Possession'
Such a lovey composed piece of prose to praise THE WORD.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word will remain forever. Don't know if that's a scripture you had in mind while writing, but that's what your poem brought to mind.
I hear the music too.
