The Building Of A Propaganda Machine
In Hitler and the Nazi parties rise to power in Germany, an enemy had to be identified, a scapegoat to blame for the woes of a country in economics shambles. Along with identifying an enemy, Hitler also stroked the German ego by convincing them of the superiority of the Aryan race. Hitler identified the Jews and through the use of a propaganda machine, an excellent advertising campaign, taught the Germans to hate. Otherwise good German people let themselves be convinced of not only their superiority, but the idea that the Aryan race needed to eradicate the Jews and had a moral obligation to usurp power and rule the world.
Sound familiar? The enemies of democracy, the American people and Ron Paul all, are doing the same thing today. President Bush convinced Americans that we have an enemy, and if we are to survive as a nation, it is in our best interest to eradicate that enemy. Not only do we need to destroy our enemy, but we as a superior nation are obligated to "give" democracy to those in the middle east We will not do it through peaceful means, but by the use of the B-1 bomber and the Abrams tank. By god, those sand niggers will become democratically civilized if we have to kill half of them to do it!
Just like Hitler, George Bush inflamed the American people against Muslims and convinced us that it was our moral obligation to go to war with Iraq and now they are pointing the propaganda machine at Iran. The United States economy was not doing so well when Bush took the Presidency. We had about six years of improvement. Now it is on shaky grounds once again. Gold prices are close to $800 as of this writing. Gold prices have not been this high since 1980. Oil is at new record high of $93.80 a barrel. The dollar is weak, the housing market has collapsed and mortgages are failing.
If you listen to the media, the coming presidential elections are between two different camps. On one side we have the Democratic Party with Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama the favorites. On the other side we have the Republican Party with Rudy Guiliani, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson in the lead. Ron Paul, although a favorite on the internet, is only garnering about 4% in the national polls.
"But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever." John Adams
The two major political parties and the front running candidates seek not the freedom of the American people, but their enslavement.
The Republican Agenda
The Republican Parties agenda is global conquest and the control of the economies of the world. American corporations want cheap labor and cheap natural resources. Republicans eager for power will do what it takes to satisfy their corporate masters even if it means killing half the people in the middle east and raping the wallets of Americans to do it. For all their platitudes about small government, lower taxes and spending, the "pork" spending by Republicans has never been worse.
The basic agenda of the Republican Party is the conquering of the world in the name of "democracy". The truth behind the idea of spreading democracy is the expansion of the United States and its military industrial complex. Corporation's have no heart, no soul, and exist only for one reason. The acquisition of power and money. A corporation does not have loyalty to any country or any particular people. When the makers of Lee jeans, Hershey's chocolate or Philips tv's, moved to Mexico and China, there was no loyalty or sense of patriotism shown to America or its people. Corporations want open borders so they can move money and material at will.
When corporations want free trade agreements like NAFTA, lobbyist and the media join together to ensure their propaganda is sold to the American people. Who owns the media? Big corporation. General Electric owns NBC. What does GE produce? Weapons that keep the war machine running. Fox TV likes to bill itself as fair and balanced, yet preaches hate on a daily basis. Anyone that disagrees with the likes of O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter or the "Doctor of Democracy" Rush Limbaugh crowd, is ridiculed and degraded on a daily basis. Listen to these spin doctors enough and you will either become brain washed with their drivel or totally repulsed. On another channel you have CNN, they make the platitudes of being more "liberal" and progressive, which the "conservative" hosts elsewhere like to browbeat them for. But are they really as objective as they seem? Anderson Cooper recently did a warm fuzzy piece on how global warming is effecting the world. Instead of taking us to the gates of refineries, showing a brown cloud over Denver or the profit charts of companies making money off of the murder of those that stand in the way of our military industrial complex, we get to see and hear about polar bears and penguins. Do you really think CNN or Fox would be able to continue to make billions of dollars every year by running exposes on companies like Boeing or General Electric? Do you think if Anderson Cooper did an expose on how the members of the United States Chamber of Commerce get rich off the death and destruction caused by wars, that CNN would stay in business?
The Democratic Agenda
Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards and the Democratic Party have one goal in mind. They do not seek to go out into the rest of the world and force our ideas of democracy on them. They seek to socialize the United States. It is that simple. I recently finished reading "Bloodthirsty Bitches and Pious Pimps of Power" by Gerry Spence. I like Mr. Spence's writing and have read most of his books. In my view he is right on the money in calling the current leaders of the Republican Agenda "the conservative hate culture", for that is what they preach. What I think he overlooks though is the out right lust for power of Hillary Clinton and her ilk. The leaders of the Democratic party have long liked to label anyone that does not agree with them as stupid. They believe that they are intellectually superior to the rest of us regular people and if they just come down to our level, attend a few NASCAR events, swill some beer or go to a few church socials, in our stupidity we will elect them. Once elected they will take care of us, for we are to stupid and lazy to take care of ourselves. What Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama do not realize is, the same corporations that control the Republican Party, our economy, our banks and our media, control them. If the Republicans are the Pious Pimps of Power, then the Democrats are the Dubious Dupes of Demagogue. They will promise anything to get power, never realizing that their dreams of a socialized America exist at the whim of the corporations that really wield it.
The Machine Of Democracy
Our founding fathers believed in democracy and capitalism. They believed that a small government controlled by the people would keep the people free. We are now in a position that government controls us. If they want more money, they raise our taxes. If they want to spend billions on wars in foreign countries, they do so. If they want our land, they have eminent domain. The list goes on and on. Today when the founding fathers are mentioned on the internet, many comments are left pointing out their weakness's and failings. They were human. The same people that will excuse Bill Clinton for perjury, a felony, will point out in glee that President Jefferson did not manage his money well or that the founding fathers had slaves. They will completely overlook that as slavery became unpopular throughout the world, the Just Over Broke, took its place. The government controls the people and huge multi-national corporations control the government. We have become mere puppets dancing on the strings of our masters.
Can we become free men once again? Hitler knew that if he burned the books it would be easier to spread the propaganda of the Nazi party. Books do not have to be burned today. Most people would rather read Stephen King than a book by Ron Paul on the Gold Standard. Our current media is the best propaganda machine ever devised. It exists solely for the purpose of spreading the corporate message and Americans sit mindlessly in front of it, being brainwashed on a daily basis.
Electing Ron Paul is an uphill battle. Trying to get a man elected that is honest and not controlled by either party or our industrial corporate complex is a battle well worth taking on. When the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity or O'Reily sneer at the ideas of a man like Ron Paul, a man that is promoting true democracy, free markets and capitalism, you know you are on the right track. The media will never relent in degrading Ron Paul, no matter how much money he raises or how many supporters he gets. For every enthusiastic supporter that leaves a positive comment on a website or blog in favor of Ron Paul, there will always be a slave to the Pious Pimps and the Dupes of Demagogue that will leave a hate filled message designed to denigrate Ron Paul supporters.
This is war, a revolution for the destiny of not only the United States, but for the world. Any day now the military machine could start bombing Iran. The sabers are rattling. Any day now an innocent family could be walking in a market and lose their life. No problem, just collateral damage in the quest to keep the world "safe" from tyranny and the United States way of benevolently bringing democracy to the rest of the world. So sorry we had to murder your family to give you this gift, I know you will love us for it.
Ron Paul believes in a strong national defense, not murdering innocent people in the name of democracy and empire building. He has never wavered from that belief. Do you believe that it is ok to murder innocent people? Do you want to be a slave to a corporation? Do you like working half a year to pay federal, state, local, gas, sin, luxery, and every other kind of tax they throw at us, including death tax?
"The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object." Thomas Jefferson
Will the will of the people be for freedom or tyranny? Will we elect as our President in 2008 a man that will defend the Constitution of the United States, a man that will further the goals of the industrial corporate complex or a person that will destroy what little bit of a democracy we have left with socialism?

Personally, Robert... I don't care if you support Ron Paul. What I have a problem with is the apparent lack of tolerance Paul's supporters have with those who simply don't agree with you.
In truth, considering the fact that Paul labels himself as a champion of individual rights (such as free speech) it's a bit ironic (or even hypocritical) that his supporters become so enraged by an opposing view that they feel compelled to insult, degrade (and sometimes even threaten) those who disagree in an effort to shut them up.
Where you and "rhys" believe that fascism is the greatest threat to our freedom... just remember that the foundation of fascism IS intolerance.

The two greatest tools and also enemies of the people are corporations and government. Alone they are easy for the people to control. A government without corporations is constantly underfunded and impotent except in the most obvious of laws. A corporation without government is constantly at the mercy of cut-throat competition and consumer demands. Together, corporations and government form an alliance that protects corporate profits with monopoly power, and funds government activities for the enrichment of government officials. Fascism is truly the greatest threat to our liberty and to a free people.
We must eliminate all corporate-government cooperative efforts. The key player in this fascist system is the Federal Reserve, which is the pure conflation of government power with moneyed bank interests. There is hardly a better example of Fascism anywhere in the world, and there is hardly an example of a more sinister miscarriage of justice than to allow our government officials to b
